This day was specifically devised to meet the needs of those attending.  Being born as a result of requests from colleagues on a complementary organization committee, the day is full of real life information, from an experienced tutor.

These are dynamic 1-day seminars in essential First Aid skills that include Appointed Person / Emergency Life Support training. This incorporates the national recommendations of the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) for Emergency First Aid & Appointed Persons.

Please Note: The Health & Safety Executive (HSE) DO NOT approve or certify any one day First Aid Courses or Appointed Persons courses and approved First Aid at Work providers must not infer that their one day courses or such issued certificates are HSE approved.

These First Aid for Therapists one day courses are designed to be particularly suitable for Complementary Health Practitioners and those who have an Holistic interest in Natural Medicine. Specifically designed, by request, for those who need to have a valid First Aid certificate as part of their complementary therapy training and for anyone who needs to update their Appointed Person / Emergency First Aid qualification for any reason.

First Aid Course CPR

In addition to the 4-hour training in Emergency First Aid, there are dynamic sessions, varying to changing health concerns.

A session on Adverse and Allergic Reactions, causing Anaphylactic Shock, particularly relevant to anyone working alone or from home. What it is, how it presents and how to cope with an allergic reaction.

This day includes a fascinating introduction to the use of Natural Remedies in First Aid and preventive medicine, including the use of acupressure, aromatherapy and natural foods – for the personal use of those attending.

The day is enhanced with the sessions on Adverse Reactions/Allergies and Natural Remedies.
